On May 5, 2026 Arbitrator John Hall decided in favour of the BCUWU in grievances filed against the BCGEU. Two members filed grievances when they were denied accrued vacation entitlements and vacation pay while on approved parental leave. The arbitrator upheld the Union’s grievances.
