About THE BCUWU

Andrea is currently a Labour Relations Representative at the Professional Employees’ Association (PEA). Before joining the staff of the PEA she was a Staff Representative at the British Columbia General Employees’ Union (BCGEU).  She has served on the BCUWU Executive since 2001 as the Vice-President Administration. She also was a Unit Committee member at the BCGEU and bargained on behalf of BCUWU members.

Andrea has an underdgraduate degree in Sociology and a Master’s in Policy. She has represented union members at arbitrations, resolved grievances, collective bargained, negotiated essential service levels, facilitated union member education workshops, and provided advice and assistance to local stewards.

She is the proud mother of two sons and has two dogs and two cats. She enjoys gardening, spending time with family, travelling, cooking and listening to music.
